Late at night, Tranns and Philip meet up in the pool. Philip, still in the midst of an ontological crisis flirts
a bit with Tranns. Tranns is less than receptive. She's too preoocupied with her own loneliness. As they
talk, the topic of conversation turns to Star and Rommie. Philip marvels over the fact that the two of them look identical,
just like siblings. Tranns admits that she's constantly amazed at how much Star looks like her and Lucien, confessing
that she'd believe there was a destiny behind her, it not for the fact that Tranns has lost her faith in destiny. Phil
warns her not to be so quick to dismiss it, especially after all the two of them have seen, but Tranns is having problems
finding the faith.
Although Tranns and Lucien have found a way to peacefully coexist in the House, there is an enormous tension beneath
the surface of their polite exchanges. Besides creeping out several people in the House, it is clearly upsetting to
Star. While Tranns is caring for her, Star's behavior becomes fussy and unpredictable. Tranns does her best to comfort
the child, but nothing seems to work. When Tranns is standing close, reading out for her, a bright blast of light bursts
out from Star's eyes and hits Tranns. She is knocked unconcious and wakes to find herself in a beautiful villa in the
middle of Hyrule. It is her home and she lives there with her husband, who happens to be Philip.
At first, Tranns is completely enveloped in the illusion, happy to be in love with Philip, but she quickly begins to
experience moments of disorientation. She confuses this world with the one she knows back in the Phoenix House, but
none of her observations make sense to Philip. They both brush the confusion off as excitement. Everyone is gathering
in Garden Place to celebrate the anniversary of Philip's mother Kally and her husband James. In anticipation of the
party, Adriana and her husband Ian are coming to stay with Philip and Tranns. They arrive shortly thereafter, followed
by their new governness, a beautiful Andorian named Ariadne.
Both Philip and Tranns are inexplicably drawn to Ariadne, Philip out of attraction, and Tranns out of a nagging sense
of recognition. They discuss their unusual feelings for her and Tranns blurts out that she feels as if she knows Ariadne,
as if she knows Ariadne's destiny. She and Philip decide to put away the feelings. They attend the anniversary
party but things get worse for Tranns. As she sees more and more of the Phoenix Fighters in different incarnations,
her memories of the Phoenix House start to flow in and out of her consciousness with increasing alarm and frequency.
The party comes to a screaming halt when Tranns' cousin, Ewan arrives. As self proclaimed pack leader of the Andorians
(though he is not one), Ewan has come to claim Ariadne, bringing her back to her family. Philip and Tranns staunchly
defend Ariadne and, in the processing of beating Ewan, Tranns' memories of the Phoenix House begin to fully resurface.
After she defeats Ewan, and sees that Philip and Ariadne are gone, she follows after them and discovers them in an apple orchard,
kissing. Rather than become angry, Tranns is surprisingly gracious about it, stepping back for the fact that she knows,
in any time, Philip and Ariadne are destined to be in love.
Suddenly, Tranns reappears in her bedroom, holding Star. The spirit of Lorac Mann greets her as a friend.
She explains that Star caused her to have the vision, in the hopes of teaching her the importance of love. Lorac promises
Tranns that love will lead to the defeat of the Ebene, but does not specify how. She also reveals that Tranns is one
of the four people in the House protected by a PTB temporal bodyguard, along with Lucien and Adriana. Tranns is left
reeling with the knowledge that she is a part of Shaldani's destiny and Star is steering her in the right direction.
